We understand that sometimes plans change. Adjusting your trip usually involves moving your flights and updating your hotel stay. Here’s everything you need to know before you get started:
Things to consider 🤔
Airline Fees: Most airlines charge an admin fee (usually £100+ per person) to change your flights, plus any difference in the ticket price. If the new flights are cheaper, the airline won't refund the difference, but the admin fee will still apply.
Same airline rule: You can’t swap to a different airline. If your original flight was with easyJet, your new flight must also be with easyJet.
Admin Fees: Sunshine charges an admin fee of up to £120 to process date and duration changes.
Payment: Any airline fees need to be paid as soon as we update your booking. However, extra costs for your hotel or transfers can usually be added to your existing instalment plan!
How to request a change 🔁
1. Do a quick search 🔎 Before messaging us, head to the Sunshine homepage and do a quick search. This is the fastest way to see if your hotel and flights are available for the new dates you want.
2. Message us on Live Chat 💬 Once you know your new dates are available, log into your My Sunshine account and open a Live Chat.
Select Booking Amendments
Then Flight, Hotel & Date Changes
Choose Change Holiday Dates and then Adjust Holiday Duration
3. We'll take it from here ☀️ Once you've given us the details, our amendments team will contact the suppliers to get a quote over to you.
⏰ Heads up: During busy periods, it can take up to 14 days to get everything confirmed with the airline and hotel. We'll notify you the second your quote is ready to view in your account.
