We understand that plans can sometimes shift. If you have decided you no longer need your accommodation but still wish to keep your flights, we can usually help you cancel just the hotel part of your holiday.
The details on hotel cancellations
In most cases, we can cancel your hotel for you as long as it is at least 14 days before your departure date.
To go ahead with this, you will need to have either a hotel-only booking or have already paid for your flights in full. If you haven't finished paying for your flights yet, please don't worryâyou'll just need to settle that balance before we can cancel the hotel for you.
How to get started: Simply get in touch with us via Live Chat in your My Sunshine account by clicking the chat icon in the bottom right corner. When the main menu appears:
Choose âSomething Elseâ.
Type âCancel my hotelâ. Our assistant, Sunny, will then guide you through the next steps.
Would you prefer to change your hotel instead? đ
Before you cancel, itâs worth knowing that you can often amend your stay instead of removing it entirely. Whether youâve spotted a different hotel youâd prefer, or youâd just like to upgrade your room or board basis, you can do this easily online:
Log into My Sunshine and select your holiday.
Select 'Manage Booking' and then the 'Make changes' section.
Choose 'Hotel Changes' to browse other options or update your current stay.
â ď¸ Important things to keep in mind
Even if you cancel your hotel, please remember that flights are entirely non-refundable from the moment they are booked. If you are cancelling the hotel part of a flight + hotel package, you will still be responsible for the full cost of the flights.
