How do I book my flight seats?

Want to make sure the whole gang is sat together? Or maybe you fancy a window seat so you can watch the world go by? You can pick your perfect spot by heading directly to your airline’s website.

How to Get it Sorted:

  1. Find your Airline Reference: Pop over to My Sunshine or check your Flight Voucher for your reference number (sometimes called a PNR). This is just a short code of letters and numbers.

Need a hand finding it? Check out our quick guide here to help you track it down.

  1. Visit the airline’s website: Look for the Manage Booking section on their homepage. You'll usually just need your reference and your surname to log in.

  2. Pick your spot: From there, you’ll be able to see a map of the plane, choose your seats, and pay the airline directly.

💡 A Handy Shortcut

You can find your flight reference and a direct link to your airline all in one place. Just log in to your account, click View and Manage Booking, head to Flight Extras in the menu, and then select Add Seats.

⚠️ Just a heads-up: Any seats you book directly through the airline won't show up on your Sunshine paperwork. Don't worry, though—the airline will have everything they need on their system, and your seat numbers will be on your boarding passes!

Can we do it for you? 🌟

For some airlines, we can lend a hand with booking your seats. To see if this is an option for your flight, just head to the Flight Extras section in your account.

Please keep in mind: If you choose for us to handle the seat booking for you, an admin fee of up to £45.00 will apply. Heading straight to the airline's website is usually the best way to avoid any extra costs and keep that holiday budget for the beach!

Don’t mind where you sit?

No problem at all! Selecting your seats ahead of time isn’t a must. If you’d rather save your pennies for an extra ice cream by the pool, the airline will automatically assign your seats for free when you check in for your flight.
